ABOUT MIGO

For most of her life, Migo moved through the world unaware that she was navigating the weight of undiagnosed mental illness and being on the spectrum. In 2015, a breaking point led to psychiatric medication to stabilize the crisis, followed by therapy—marking the start of a journey that would reshape her entire existence. Through years of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and intentional self-exploration, she began unlearning old survival mechanisms and embracing new ways of being.

With a background as a U.S. Air Force Health and Wellness Educator, Migo’s passion for holistic well-being deepened as she discovered the power of mindfulness practices. Among them, creativity emerged as more than an outlet—it became a tool for balance, self-connection, and reclaiming her voice.

CreativeMigo serves as the visual counterpart to WHOISMIGO, offering a glimpse into this ongoing evolution through diverse artistic mediums. From abstract paintings to repurposed creations, Migo’s work reflects the complexities of processing emotions, personal growth, and resilience. Her art is an invitation for others to explore their own innate creativity—not just as an aesthetic pursuit, but as a pathway to mindfulness, connection, and self-exploration.
